The Sound of Trees Singing

The winter wind
whistles through
the frozen forest
frolicking among
the icy branches-
each twig
another note
in the song,
another key on
the xylophone;
the tenors, basses,
altos, sopranos
create a melody
and harmony
keeping time with
each winter wind.
